Welcome to the website of Hopefield Evangelical Church, a Christian church of over 50 years standing in the community in Frecheville, South-East Sheffield.
Originally built and opened by local Christians in 1952 and first called Hopefield Hall, and later Frecheville Evangelical Church, the church then combined with Gleadless Christian Fellowship in July 2004 to form a thriving new fellowship in Frecheville, now known as Hopefield Evangelical Church. We are an independent Christian church with links to other churches in the Sheffield area, and with a faith firmly rooted in God as revealed in the Bible.
